Adoption Social Worker:
Families For Children, Inc, a private foster care and adoption agency since 1989 is seeking an experienced, motivated Adoption Worker/Case Manager with good clinical skills and a commitment to helping children placed in our Roseville area adoptive homes. Families For Children is a leader in foster/adoptions and offers a wide array of services to clients, including foster adopt, domestic and international home studies, and other adoption services.
Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- A Master´s degree in Social Work is required.
Adoption Worker/Case Manager duties include:
- Completion of Home Studies for new foster families.
- Matching adoptive families with available County adoptive children.
- Adoption finalization.
- Case Management.
- Bi-Weekly visits to adoptive homes.
- Quarterly reports, Needs and Service Plans.
- Frequent contact with county social workers.
- Case load limit of 12 children.
The qualifying candidate will posses the following:
- Excellent people skills.
- A passion for adoption!
- Good writing skills.
- Understanding of the fost/adopt process.
- Be Reliable and flexible.
- Excellent time management.
- Efficient multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to prioritize work load.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Posses a Master's in Social Work or a LCSW.
