Social Work Supervisor
Families For Children, a foster care/adoption agency, has an opening for a Social Work Supervisor position in this office.
Requirements for this position:
- Duties include responsibility for the daily supervision of social work staff. An MSW or LCSW and at least 2 years of supervisory experience is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, proven ability to work smoothly and effectively with employees, clients, the public and state regulatory agencies are essential. Knowledge of the foster care and adoption industry and Title 22 regulations is required. Families For Children offers a wide array of services, including foster care, domestic and international home studies, and adoption services.
Social Worker Supervisor duties include:
- Daily supervision of social work staff.
- Case Management.
- Leading weekly team meetings.
- Weekly one on one supervision with social workers.
- Review of all county required reports.
- Overall daily management and supervision of office.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Efficient multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to prioritize work load.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Posses a Master's in Social Work or LCSW
Salary ranges from $43k - $46k per year depending on qualifications & experience.
